As dancers grow, so do the possibilities. Our kids dance classes give dancers ages 4.5–13 the chance to explore different styles, build strong technique, and discover what they love about dance.
Whether they're continuing from preschool classes or walking into a dance studio for the very first time, there's a place for them at Center Stage.
Wondering What to Expect?
Is It Okay If My Child Has Never Danced Before?
Absolutely. Dancers don't have to start when they're three to belong here. We'll help your dancer find the class and level that makes sense for their age and experience..
Which Styles Can They Take?
As dancers get older, more options open up! Depending on their age and level, dancers can explore ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, musical theater, pom, and more.
What Should My Dancer Wear?
Each style has its own attire and shoe requirements, and we'll make sure you know exactly what your dancer needs.
Can We Try a Class First?
Absolutely. A Discovery Class lets your dancer experience a regular Center Stage class before deciding whether they'd like to enroll.

Ballet & Tap | Ages 4.5–6
Ballet & Tap introduces more structured technique and terminology while keeping class engaging and age-appropriate. Dancers explore both styles while continuing to build confidence, coordination, and classroom skills.
Level 1 | Ages 7–9
At Level 1, dancers have more opportunities to explore different styles while continuing to build strong dance foundations. Classes introduce age-appropriate technique, terminology, musicality, and movement while giving dancers room to discover what they enjoy most.
Level 2 | Ages 10–13
Level 2 gives dancers the opportunity to continue developing their technique while exploring a wider range of styles and more challenging movement. Whether they've danced for years or are just getting started, we'll help them find classes where they can learn, grow, and feel successful.
